This regional spelling bee season, we will be distributing 800 goodie bags to spellers across the country. Each goodie bag will contain a pin, bee eraser, as well as a note from a Scripps competitor!
These notes are personal, encouraging, and contain tips on how to make the most out of the spelling bee experience.
By connecting veteran spellers to aspiring spellers, we hope to share the love of spelling, de-emphasize the ranking system, redefine failure, and ensure that every speller makes the most out of their once-in-a-lifetime experience!
